This bold stripe Turkish cotton beach towels is made with premium Oeko-Tex certified cotton and has beautiful hand twisted tassels. These flat woven towels are so versatile because they are lightweight and compact whilst still being very absorbent. Durable and eco-friendly, these towels dry in a flash and their softness and absorbency increases with each wash.

Turkish Cotton

Turkey has a long tradition in cotton production and at Turquoise Beach we have looked far and wide to bring you the best Turkish peshtemal towels. We have road tested numerous samples and are confident our towels are superior to other products on the market.

Turkish cotton farmers still rely on traditional farming techniques and cotton grown in Turkey has smooth long fibres that allow a loose weave to remain lightweight whilst still being very absorbent. This makes them perfect as an 'all in one' towel for the home, travel, kids school bag and sporting activities.They are available in colours from bright and playful to monocrome and pastels. They can be worn as a shawl or used as a blanket in over air-conditioned spaces or cool evenings.

Each towel is unique with handmade twisted tassels by Anatolian village women and as this is not a mass produced product, colour variations and slight incursions may occur.

All our towels are made in Turkey from 100% Oeko-Tex® 100 Standard certified Turkish Cotton. We believe in high quality artisan produced products that perfectly fit into our modern lives.

Turquoise Beach towels are pre-washed and become softer and more absorbent with each wash.

A warm machine wash and line dry is recommended. The tassels are hand knotted and may unravel from time to time. To keep the tassels in tact you can wash the towel in a laundry bag but it is not necessary. If the tassels unravel just split into two and twist each strand clockwise, then join the two stands and twist anti-clockwise until spiral together and tie a knot.

Wash like colours together, do not tumble dry, bleach or dry clean.
